What (or Who) is Frank White Photography?

Durham based Photographer, Frank WhiteFrank White Photography, based in Durham North Carolina, is me, Frank White. I spend much of my time capturing moments, freezing them in time. I enjoy making pictures of couples, individuals, and events. I also like to shoot landscape scenes, nature and wildlife. I guess I could say I love photography, both the art and science of it. It's a passion. Combining passion and business produces, for you, incredibly beautiful and frank (no pun intended) images. As you browse through my galleries you'll witness for yourself the story that each photo tells. Although I am based in Durham, I am happy to travel to Raleigh or Chapel Hill or anywhere in North Carolina. I am willing to shoot anywhere in North Carolina1. As long as my drive is less than 25 miles from Durham, there is no extra fee for my travel.

I am also willing to make commercial pictures. Exterior and interior pictures of buildings and homes for real estate agents and product photography for manufacturers and retailers are also part of my photography mix. If you need this genre of photography I'd love to hear from you.

When I am not working in my studio you may find me posting educational videos and reviews about photography gear or photography in general on my Youtube channel.  I like hiking and camping so it only natural that I like to shoot incredible nature and landscape photos.

 Canvas Wraps

Canvas Prints - Couch not included.
My canvas prints employ ECO printing technologies to not only save our forest, but to help rebuild them. My canvas lab plants a tree for every roll of material used. Canvas prints come stretched gallery wrap style with the option of either black paper backing, sawtooth hangers and rbber hanging bumpers or hanging wire with an open back. I recommend the hanging wire for prints larger than 16"x16".
 
There are two styles of canvas prints currently available - Canvas Floats and Canvas Flats. Canvas Float uses a portion of your photo wrapped around the sides so it is important that you select photos where your subject does not extend to the edge of your print. Canvas Flats are printed actual size and a 2" white border is provided around the image area.

I require a meeting to discuss your plans for your wedding day. The price for wedding day coverage is determined on a case by case basis. Please fill out the wedding questionnaire to get started

Additional information:

Photoshoots further than 30 miles from Durham, NC may be subject to a travel fee. Service area (no travel fee) includes Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill. Travel fee outside of my service area is calculated at $.65 per mile calculated from Durham.

Venue cost: Some venues, such as Sarah Duke Gardens (pricing), in Durham, NC, charge separately for Photoshoots. If your venue requires payment, we will add it to your deposit invoice.

I am happy to provide and edit additional images that you might want to add to your selection. The fee for additional images is $3.50 per image with a minimum of 10 additional images. (Additional images are images that were not included in the package above)

Frank White, Family and Portrait Photographer (based in Durham, NC)

Having your picture made should be fun. It should also be anHomepageCollage experience in and of itself. Portraiture is about showing you at your very best, bringing forth both your physical and inner beauty and your inner strength. Great pictures are not taken, they are made. Great pictures, last throughout generations.

I photograph many subjects, including: people, pets, nature, landscapes, and wildlife. However, portrait photography is my specialty and passion. I hope to share some of that passion with you.
